Heating with waste heat For many years now, the building that accommodates SIG Holding Ltd., which is located in the immediate vicinity of the Rhine Falls and the Rhine Falls Power Station, has been heated by the node cooling circuit of the generator. Consequently, the oil-fired boiler generates 225 KWh and the heat pump 62 KWh. The 17.300 cubic metres volume of the property can be heated with CO2-neutral emissions at outside temperatures as low as 5 degrees centigrade. |
