Greater content of renewable raw material

The greater the proportion of wood pulp fibres in the cardboard composite, the better for the environment. The reason is obvious: if forests are managed responsibly, pulp fibres obtained from wood, a renewable resource, are available in an almost infinite supply. Environmentally sound forest management guarantees that at least as many trees are regrown as are harvested.

In the new combibloc EcoPlus, the proportion of this renewable resource is more than 80 per cent!

As proof that all the wood fibres used to manufacture the cardboard originate from well-managed forests, combibloc EcoPLus carton packs carry the label of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC label is internationally acknowledged as one of the most recognised and most widely accepted verifications that the wood fibres used to manufacture a given product can be proven to originate from forests that are managed responsibly and to the highest standards and certified according to FSC guidelines, or from other controlled forests.
