Simple, flexible, economical With the combisafe package format series, products containing chunky particulates, such as vegetables, fruit and ready-meals, can also be filled and then sterilised in the autoclave. This process makes it possible to store products for up to two years with no loss of quality, no refrigeration and no added preservatives. The system used for this process is based on the SIG Combibloc’s sleeve system and filling machine technology. To guarantee a secure seal for chunky products, the moulded carton sleeves are ultrasonically sealed after the filling process. Modular line concept The combisafe filling machines combine advanced engineering technology and many years of experience to create the perfect solution – with a clear, manageable investment volume for the customer. The linear concept is configured in modular style. This means that, depending on capacity utilisation, the manufacturer can use up to four tracks of the filling machine, to accurately control the output of up to 12,000 carton packs per hour. If required, more filling machines can be installed in the filling line to provide additional output. Thanks to the multiple combination possibilities of the proven pump and pouring technology, combisafe offers the filling company an extremely flexible packaging series and an appropriate filling concept for every product requirement. The volume can be changed in next to no time; changing the sleeve when filling carton packs in a variety of different designs is just as quick and straightforward. In addition, a wide range of filling concepts can be implemented. |
