Versatile and safe combisafe is a new packaging system from SIG Combibloc, characterised by easy operation, practical application and flexible usage alternatives. With combisafe, food manufacturers have all the options at their fingertips – a special process makes it possible to fill chunky foods into carton packs. This means combisafe can be used to package a huge variety of chunky products such as vegetables, fruit, ready-meals and soups with particulates – with all the benefits of the tried and tested carton packaging. A proven system The new system is ideal for packaging foods such as fruit and vegetable products, ready-meals and stews, and here too, the proven sleeve system from SIG Combibloc is used. The heat-resistant carton pack is suitable for heat treatment in an autoclave. This treatment is part of the filling process we use to maintain a sterile end product that can be kept for an extended period. |
