One-of-a-kind product flexibility The filling flexibility of SIG Combibloc machines makes them extremely versatile, and the proven sleeve system keeps product wastage low. Furthermore, this system makes it possible to seal the carton pack above the fill level, so that even chunky products can safely be filled aseptically. Unparalleled filling flexibility Unrivalled filling flexibility means our machines can fill the whole range of liquid to chunky products. Filling materials with solid chunks of up to 15 millimetres in size can be handled easily – individual fibres can even be up to 40 millimetres in length, and the proportion of solids can be up to 50 per cent. The unique two-phase filling technology markedly increases flexibility and makes it possible to fill a huge variety of products. Using this technology, products from two different sources, with different viscosities and solids content, can be filled into the same carton pack. And, because the fill nozzles can be easily changed, it’s also possible to change the fill material on one and the same machine. |
