The robust classic When SIG Combibloc launched the flat closure combiTop on the market, we were the first company to introduce a closure for aseptic beverage cartons. And, it continues to play an important role. One of the reasons for this must be its simple and precise operation: when the carton pack is first opened, a protective seal integrated into the closure mechanism is simply pressed into the interior of the carton pack. Liquids can be poured easily with no drips, and the carton pack can be safely reclosed and stored in the refrigerator with the contents safe from external odours and flavours. Shortly after it was introduced, combiTop was already in demand for fruit juices, ice teas and dairy products. Nowadays, it’s also used in the food sector.
