Health & safety In its corporate vision, SIG clearly states: „We support our employees in being the best“. In the broader sense, this also means being the best in terms of occupational health and safety. The full potential of employees can only then be achieved when all potential risks have been eliminated or brought under control, and stress factors are reduced to an absolute minimum. Consequently, occupational health and safety is accorded very high priority at SIG. As the risk of accidents is higher in industrial activities than for example in the service sector, each operational area is addressed specifically. The issue of occupational safety is also an aspect of employee training and further education. In the individual SIG business units, guidelines and objectives for improvements in occupational health and safety are established and corresponding measures implemented. Moreover, occupational safety considerations are integrated into the various operating elements of machines built by SIG. Relevant key data are reviewed on a regular basis. |
